Jonathan Kim, DO, ‘25, helped design, organize, and execute the 3rd year rotation “mock” lottery selection process.  The mock lottery system is an algorithm used by COMP students for the selection of rotation sites.  100% of COMP DO 2025 participated in this effort, which required more than eight months of planning.

Jonathan serves as the SGA Library/Technology Representative for the DO class of 2025.  He is a Clinical Medicine & Reasoning TA for 1st year students and is a former Medical Spanish TA through the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA). He also helps teach classes through WesternU’s Prison Education Project.  Jonathan has a passion for teaching and hopes to teach during his future career as a physician.  Outside of school, Jonathan enjoys cooking, baking, and roasting coffee!  He also likes playing basketball, climbing, or finding other ways to stay active.

Jonathan gives great thanks to fellow 2nd year students Aaron Bautista and Celine Wanwatanakool for their help in the mock lottery selection process. He would also like to thank Richard Lina, Marisa Orser, and the rest of the Clinical Education Department for their wisdom and guidance.
