1. What are you working on now that excites you the most?
I am most excited about the consensus statement on female athlete health that we are working on for the International Olympic Committee. I get to work with an awesome team of experts from all over the world, some of them people whose research I have been reading since undergrad. More importantly, this consensus statement is an important step on this current path of more focus and funding being directed towards research on female/women/girls’ sports and health to fill the knowledge gap.
2. What book has had the greatest impact on your life?
Anne of Green Gables. I just fell in love with the type of storytelling that wraps you in the world the author has created.
3. What is your most prized possession?
My bikes. But I can’t pick just one because the other bikes would get jealous. One must have a bike for every situation.
4. What is something that surprises people about you?
Probably my love of spreadsheets. Honestly, my idea of fun is creating a color coded spreadsheet.
5. What piece of advice would you give to five year old you?
“Stop arguing with your mother, she is right.”
