On Monday, August 7, 2023, COMP-Northwest teamed up with Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon (OPSO) to host the annual networking event that brings osteopathic physicians, residents and students together for a networking picnic at River Park in Lebanon, Oregon. As with tradition, the welcome barbeque happened after the class of 2026 hosted incoming students on river float, and on the first day of the 2023 COMP-Northwest DREAM pathway program.  The result?  A multigenerational group of prospective, current, newly graduated and seasoned members of the osteopathic medical community engaging in an informal and supportive environment. The energy is COMP-tagious with like-minded attendees gaining new insights, perspectives and making meaningful connections. This yearly event is dear to the Oregon osteopathic medical community who cherish the mentorship, comraderie, relationship building, and many of who make a special effort to return each year.
