COMP-Northwest hosted its annual Mini-Medical School event on Friday, April 19. Hundreds of local kindergarten students along with their teachers and chaperones took part in four health-focused stations hosted by our medical students and local community member volunteers. The stations included a mini surgery suite, bones and x-ray, hand washing, and heart health.
Thank you to the Mini-Medical School leader Jeannie Davis, EdD, and all the faculty, staff, and students involved for arranging such an awesome day for our guests. This year marked the 13th annual event, which means the first mini-medical school attendees are now high school seniors who may be choosing to pursue a career in health sciences!
