Tim Wood, Associate VP of CETL, attended the International Faculty Development conference on August 26 & 27 and the AMEE Annual Conference on August 28-30 that was held in Glasgow, Scotland. Over 3,000 health professions educators gathered from around the world to share their research, as well as “lessons learned” from the pandemic and remote/virtual teaching over the past three years. Dr. Wood attended all five days of the conference and identified the major themes as: the Use of AI in Health Professions Education, faculty well-being, and increasing opportunities for interprofessional education in Health Professions curricula. Dr. Wood is in the process of sharing the information campus -wide that he gathered at AMEE through CETL presentations.
