The WesternU Oregon Kākoʻo Maui Fundraiser for Wildfire Relief was held in conjunction with WesternU Oregon Club Day sponsored by the Hawai’i students of WesternU Oregon and WesternU Oregon Student Affairs. Faculty and students came together to donate and organize fantastic items for a silent auction, held on Club Day. In addition, the students sold baked good and “Kākoʻo Maui ” stickers. The team was initially hoping to raise around $350. This amount was far exceeded when cash donations were received from the WesternU family across both campuses. $1,536 was counted at the end of the day! The money was donated to Maui Strong Fund.
