Dr. Janet Konecne, along with the DPT 2024 cohort, facilitated poster presentations on September 27th. The event was well received and included attendees from multiple programs and departments across the university.  Students selected patient case studies from the clinical experiences recently completed.  Using the ICFDH model (The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health), the importance of applied research to intervention effectiveness and efficiency, as well as the role of interprofessional care, were a focus of the posters.  Students were encouraged to consider submitting to professional conferences, and attendees were asked to vote for their favorites.  Attendees were globally surprised at the variety and types of patients that received and benefitted from physical therapy.  It was an impressive event with students, their clinical partners/instructors, and their patients at the forefront!
